How the Veteran Roof Giveaway Works
Veterans gave years of their lives to protect ours. Some came home to houses that need as much repair as they do. A leaking roof shouldn’t be one more thing a veteran has to worry about — but for many, the cost of a full replacement is out of reach on a fixed income or disability pension.
The giveaway is QXO for Veterans, a national program run by QXO, the building-products distributor that bought Beacon Roofing Supply (it used to be called Beacon of Hope). QXO’s judges pick the winners each year, and a local roofing contractor installs each winning roof.
Who Can Apply
Nominations from family members, neighbors, and fellow veterans are welcome. Sometimes the people who need help the most are the last to ask for it.
How to Apply or Nominate
Nominations open once a year; the last round ran from November 11 to December 17, 2025. We’ll post the nomination link here as soon as QXO opens the next round.
